Dekin no Mogura Episode 2 Story & Previews Unveiled: What Is the Mole’s True Goal?

The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole (JP: 出禁のモグラ, Dekin no Mogura) have been released. The episode will air in Japan on Sunday, July 14 at 10:00 PM JST, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

"Ghost = Human"

Momoyuki Mogura, who claims to have been drafted into a war and seen the depths of hell, reveals his goal: to once again gather lantern lights and reach the afterlife. A few days later, he is approached by two people for advice, leading him to Shio Inukai, a part-time worker and junior colleague of Yaeko Kirihara, who appears in a mysterious spirit photo. Mogura succeeds in exorcising the ghost that was haunting her and collects the lantern light… but something more awaits.

Introduction

Mogura, a self-proclaimed sage who’s been banned from the afterlife, sets out on a quest to collect “lights” from spirits in order to return to the other side. This mysterious tale of life and death follows the strange encounters of those who, after meeting Mogura, begin to see things beyond the ordinary.
