Comment from Junji Ito
“It is a tremendous honor to be inducted into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame. Having received four category awards in the past, I find it hard to believe that I am now joining the ranks of such distinguished creators. I have always tried to put full effort into each piece I create, and I feel truly rewarded by this recognition.
I will not rest on this honor, and I hope to continue making works with the same level of dedication. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Eisner Awards selection committee, my readers who have supported me, the publishers involved in producing my works, and especially VIZ Media, who have delivered beautiful translations and high-quality editions. Thank you very much for this wonderful recognition.”
