The airing of Episode 9 of the anime The Summer Hikaru Died has been moved from its original date to Sunday, September 7 at 12:55 AM JST.

This change is due to programming decisions by the Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV. During this time, the network airs 24-Hour Television, a large and long-running charity program. Because of this, not only anime but also most regular programming, including drama series, will be delayed across the network.

There won't be any special programming in place of the episode.
