The new anime Baki-Dou will be available to watch on Netflix worldwide in 2026. The next opponent to challenge Baki is the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. TMS Entertainment is producing the animation, and a teaser trailer and teaser art have been released along with the announcement.

It is based on a manga series called Baki-Dou that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 2014 to 2018. The manga tells the story of a parent-child battle.

After that big fight, Baki and the others settle into a boring daily routine. However, Mitsunari Tokugawa, who was obsessed with strength, started an experiment that defied the gods. This experiment completely changed their world. The teaser footage features narration stating, "After the strongest parent-child battle, the warriors were growing restless," as fierce fighters such as Doppo Orochi, Jack Hammer, and Kaoru Hanayama appear one after another.

Just as Baki is about to get bored, Japan's greatest swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi, appears. As the story moves into the modern era, Musashi uses sword techniques that are very fast and powerful, which are a threat to Baku and his friends. The story is about an extraordinary battle that takes place across different time periods. It features the strongest underground arena warrior and the legendary swordsman.
