Fist of the North Star 2026 Anime Reveals Hokuto Four Brothers Cast with New Visual and PV

The 2026 TV anime Fist of the North Star has announced the cast for the legendary Hokuto Four Brothers. The reveal was made during the special program "It's Fist of the North Star Day!! All four brothers should gather! Anime New Information Special" on September 13, along with a brand-new visual and character PV.

The famous manga series Fist of the North Star was created by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. It first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983. Its eye-catching artwork, memorable characters, and the ultimate assassination martial art, Hokuto Shinken, captivated readers as they followed Kenshiro, the protagonist, on his journey to fight evil in a post-apocalyptic world.

The manga was adapted into a TV anime in 1984, and since then, it has expanded into various media. This has continued to inspire fans around the globe. More than 100 million copies of the series have been circulated, and it is widely considered a classic of Japanese comics. Now, in 2026, Fist of the North Star will return with a new creative team and cutting-edge animation technology to fully capture the essence of the original.

The new cast includes Wataru Takagi as Jagi, Tsuguo Mogami as Toki, and Taiten Kusunoki as Raoh. Alongside Kenshiro, the four brothers are featured in a new character visual that's full of power. A PV (short for "promotional video") showing their famous lines has been released.

Additionally, a short anime titled Fist of the North Star: Elegy of the First King's Army Grunts will be shown for the first time in January 2026.

Wataru Takagi (Jagi)

Character Introduction
The third brother of Hokuto. After being defeated by Kenshiro, he hides his scars under a steel mask. Consumed by hatred, he brands his chest with seven scars, impersonates Kenshiro, and commits atrocities driven by vengeance.

Tsuguo Mogami (Toki)
"When I was chosen as Toki, I immediately went to report to my late agency president, Kenji Utsumi. I felt like he was telling me, "Mogami, you're Toki." Do your best." This role is very important, and I want to do it to the best of my ability."

Character Introduction
He is the second brother of Hokuto. He was seen as the next leader of Hokuto Shinken, but his life was cut short after he was exposed to nuclear fallout. Sick with an illness, he uses his knowledge of Hokuto Shinken to heal people.

taiten Kusunoki (Raoh)
"Fist of the North Star is a national treasure and part of my youth. When it was on, we talked about it every day at school. Even as a voice actor, it was my go-to reference book. I really respect the original cast, and even auditioning was very stressful. Now that I've been chosen, I have a lot of responsibility, but I'm also very happy and honored. I will give it my all."

Character Introduction
The eldest brother of Hokuto. He calls himself the Conqueror of the Century's End and leads the "Fist King's Army." Riding his horse Kokuoh, he tries to rule the ruined world with great strength and fear.
