Ninja vs. Gokudo Episode 1 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Ninja vs Yakuza Battle Begins

The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime Ninja vs. Gokudo (JP: 忍者と極道) have been revealed. This episode will air on Wednesday, October 8 at 1:59 AM (JST), followed by a global simultaneous release on Prime Video at 2:30 AM (JST) the same day.

Episode 1 Story

Shinoha Tanaka, a boy who lost the ability to smile due to past trauma, meets Kiwami Kimura, a businessman who happens to love the same anime as him. The two quickly hit it off, but unbeknownst to them, they each belong to two rival factions that have been at war since the Edo period—Ninja and Gokudo.

Without knowing the truth, Shinoha heads into the Gokudo hideout alone in order to rescue a kidnapped governor.

“When you stir up trouble in the underworld, the ninja will come.”

It is time to decide… Ninja or Gokudo, who will live and who will fall!
