Marriagetoxin TV Anime Announced for 2026, Animated by Bones Film – Haruki Ishiya and Shion Wakayama Star in PV Release with Comments

The manga Marriagetoxin has been officially confirmed for a TV anime adaptation in 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, teaser PV, and cast and staff details were revealed. Haruki Ishiya will voice Hikaru Gero, while Shion Wakayama will play Mei Kinosaki. Animation production will be handled by Bones Film.

Serialized on the Shonen Jump+ app, the series follows Hikaru Gero, a young assassin from the centuries-old family of poison users, who must continue his lineage. To do so, he teams up with marriage swindler Mei Kinosaki to pursue the ultimate marriage in what is described as the world’s toughest battle-action marriage mission.

The teaser visual depicts Gero wielding his poison weapon against a city nightscape, while Mei holds a bouquet with a warm smile. The teaser PV shows Gero targeting Mei and cornering her with his poison. Yet soon, both find themselves surrounded by enemies. In a desperate moment, Gero throws an unexpected proposal at Mei: “Help me get married!” This shocking twist sets the stage for the strongest assassin-swindler duo to embark on the hardest marriage mission ever.
