Matsurika Kanriden TV Anime Announced with PV and Celebration Illustration! Author Expresses Gratitude for “Wonderful and Trustworthy Staff”

The popular novel Matsurika Kanriden (JP: 茉莉花官吏伝 ) will be adapted into a television anime. Along with the announcement, a special teaser PV and celebratory illustration have been released.

First published in 2017 under Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG Bunko imprint, the novel later inspired a manga adaptation in Monthly Princess (Akita Shoten) beginning in 2018. With over 2 million copies in circulation, including digital editions, the series has become a beloved Chinese-style Cinderella story.
