The additional cast for the TV anime "Yokai School Teacher Hajimemashita!" (premiering in October) has been announced.

Following the recent reveal of Ryota Ohsaka as the lead role of Abe no Seimei, the official social media accounts have been steadily unveiling more cast members. Ryota Suzuki will play the sadistic plague god Mikoto Sano, Reon Tani will voice the tanuki yokai Mamekichi Tanizuka, Akari Kito will play the zashiki-warashi Beniko Zashiki, Haruna Ayasaka will voice the gashadokuro Kuniko Utagawa, Shun Horie will play the sake-loving boy Rintaro Mikirin, and Ryota Iwasaki will voice the kamaitachi Iizuna Hatanaka.

Additionally, it was announced that Jun Fukuyama will play the role of the principal of Hyakki Academy. A chaotic teaser PV featuring the voices of this star-studded cast has been released.

The story follows Seimei Abe, a timid, tearful, and cowardly new teacher who has been assigned to "Hyakki Academy," a school where yokai from all over Japan gather. Despite becoming the teacher he always dreamed of, he finds his classroom filled with students who are yokai, such as plague gods, gashadokuro, and one-eyed boys.

Moreover, his fellow teachers include Shuten Doji and Kamaitachi, and the principal is the mysterious and elusive Nurarihyon, who is always wearing a mask. Despite possessing a mysterious power to subdue yokai, Seimei is constantly overwhelmed by his eccentric colleagues and students, leaving his dream of a peaceful school life in tatters. This heartwarming, exhilarating, mischievous, noisy, and tear-jerking comedy brings together a delightful and thrilling yokai school experience.
