[This Fall] New 'Dragon Ball DAIMA' Series Announced: Premiering October 2024 with Exciting New Characters and Trailer
The new series of the anime 'DRAGON BALL,' titled 'Dragon Ball DAIMA,' will start airing on Fuji TV in October 2024. This marks the first TV anime series for the 'Dragon Ball' franchise in six years, following the conclusion of 'Dragon Ball Super' in March 2018.
The official announcement on X states, "'Dragon Ball DAIMA' set to air in October 2024! New characters and main visual unveiled, plus the highly anticipated new trailer released!"
This completely new anime series is penned by Akira Toriyama, featuring an entirely new storyline. Toriyama has been intricately involved in the production, including the original story, character design, and various other details. The story follows Goku and his friends, who have been shrunk due to a certain conspiracy and embark on an adventure into a mysterious, unknown world to resolve the issue.
The main visual, which has been released, dynamically depicts Goku (mini) and Supreme Kai (mini) riding a dragon and setting off on their adventure against the backdrop of three mysterious worlds.
Additionally, new characters making their debut in 'Dragon Ball DAIMA' include Glorio, who pilots an airplane, and the Masked Demon. The roles these characters will play in Goku's grand adventure remain to be seen.
The released video showcases scenes of the mysterious new characters, such as Glorio arriving in an airplane in front of Goku (mini) and his friends, the cloaked Masked Demon, and Gomar watching Goku and his friends with a sharp gaze in a strange space. Viewers can also see Goku (mini) and Supreme Kai (mini) acting together due to the "conspiracy" that shrunk them.
