Fashion sports brand LACOSTE will launch its "LACOSTE × ONE PIECE" collaboration in Japan on “Alligator Day,” August 2, 2024,(in Japanese Alligator is Wani=わに and Wa can be read as 8, Ni can be read as 2) ahead of the rest of the world.

This collaboration features a new crocodile logo inspired by the cover of chapter 1106 of the "ONE PIECE" manga and special illustrations adapted to the LACOSTE style. The capsule collection retains the black-and-white manga aesthetic and all items are made in Japan. Additionally, Japan-exclusive items, including 1,106 serialized hoodies, socks, and caps, will be released. The collaboration's ambassador, Anna Ishii, commented, "My parents have been huge fans of ONE PIECE, so I have been reading it since I can remember. One of the reasons I wanted to work in entertainment was my dream of being involved in a ONE PIECE-related project someday. I'm really happy to have this opportunity."
