The latest PV for the completely new "Mononoke Movie: Karakasa," which premieres on July 26, has been released.

In the PV, viewers can witness the Medicine Seller's acrobatic movements and the intense scenes as he confronts the Mononoke "Karakasa." One of the highlights is the rare scene where the Medicine Seller, in his combat form known as "Shingi," wields the exorcising sword.

"Mononoke" originally aired in Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "Noitamina" in July 2007. The series follows the mysterious "Medicine Seller" who possesses an exorcising sword capable of cutting down Mononoke by discerning their "truth," "reason," and "form." The story depicts the Medicine Seller and his exorcising sword putting an end to the horrific incidents caused by the convergence of human hearts and Ayakashi.

The movie is set in the opulent and majestic world of the "Ōoku," depicting the fierce emotions of women and the true nature of the Mononoke that arise from these emotions.
