"Teach me about you. Then, maybe I'll understand how to sing."

Ichika Hoshino hears an unfamiliar Miku song in a CD shop. Seeing a new version of Miku on the monitor, she exclaims, "Miku!?" Startled by Ichika's voice, Miku meets her gaze but soon disappears.

Later, after a street performance, Miku appears on Ichika's phone. Miku, looking lonely, tells Ichika that no matter how much she sings, her songs don't reach the people she wants them to. Having seen Ichika's ability to touch many hearts with her performances, Miku believes that learning from Ichika might help her do the same. With a gentle smile, Ichika responds, "If I can help," and thus begins a new story of Hatsune Miku and the boys and girls.
