A collaboration between the anime film "The Rose of Versailles" and Sanrio Characters has been announced.

The special collaboration visual, now unveiled, references the world of the "The Rose of Versailles" anime film teaser visual, beautifully depicting Oscar and Antoinette. The adorable Sanrio Characters are transformed into the elegant characters of "The Rose of Versailles," creating charming illustrations in a soft touch. Hello Kitty becomes the dashing Oscar holding a rose, and My Melody transforms into the French Queen Antoinette, complete with a ribbon-adorned gorgeous dress and matching hairstyle. Additionally, two popular main characters who did not appear in the "The Rose of Versailles" anime film teaser visual are also featured.

Hello Kitty's childhood friend Dear Daniel portrays Oscar's childhood friend Andre, and Pochacco, who is celebrating his 35th anniversary this year and ranked 2nd in the "2024 Sanrio Character Awards," embodies the compassionate Swedish Count Fersen. Moreover, a new plush-style pop collaboration visual has been introduced, showcasing the cute, rounded forms and plush seams of the characters alongside items representing the world of "The Rose of Versailles" within a framed illustration. Collaboration merchandise is also planned for release in the future.
