The synopsis and preview images for Episode 7 (overall Episode 18) of the second season of the anime "Oshi no Ko" have been released.

Episode 18, titled "The Sun," delves into Akane's past, where she entered the world of acting, inspired by her admiration for Kana as a child. However, the harsh realities she encountered there led her to work tirelessly ever since. Finally, the long-awaited moment of direct confrontation has arrived!

"Oshi no Ko" began serialization in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) in April 2020. The story revolves around the protagonist Goro, an obstetrician who meets his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. After dying in an incident, Goro is reincarnated as Ai's child. This event leads him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, just like her. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023.

The second season focuses on the "Tokyo Blade" arc, depicting Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa as they prepare for their roles in the 2.5D stage play "Tokyo Blade."
