The first key visual and second promotional video (PV) for the second season of the TV anime Rurouni Kenshin (RurouKen), titled Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story - Kyoto Arc (premiering on Fuji TV in October), have been released.

The new RurouKen TV anime, which started airing in July 2023, is a complete reconstruction of the original story from the first episode using the latest animation technology.

Original author Nobuhiro Watsuki himself is supervising every aspect of the production, including character design and scenario, ensuring that the new TV anime Rurouni Kenshin is released to the world nearly 30 years after the manga's initial serialization, with an entirely new cast.

In the second season, the story follows the protagonist Himura Kenshin as he moves from the peaceful days at the Kamiya Dojo to the challenging path where he faces off against the formidable Shishio Makoto.
