The new project, Theatre Company Haikyu!!, which continues the legacy of the previous stage series (Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!!), premiered its inaugural performance on August 19, 2023. The upcoming production, set for May next year, features a script by Masami Ito, music by Shunsuke Wada, and choreography by HIDALI. The cast will be announced at a later date.

Director Kenta Suga, who previously starred as Shoyo Hinata in the stage adaptation, expressed his excitement: "The new production of Theatre Company Haikyu!! is confirmed! Last year's 'Haikyu!! Day' marked the debut of our first show, and the 'View from the Top' is something I’ll never forget. I'm thrilled to share the news of our new production on this special day!"

Suga added, "After labeling our last show as the 'inaugural performance,' I was determined to make a second one happen. Now that it's becoming a reality, I'm even more motivated. Preparations are already underway, and I'm ready to take off running to make this an exceptional production. I appreciate your support!"

Haikyu!!, originally a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from February 2012 to July 2020, follows the coming-of-age story of Shoyo Hinata, a high school volleyball player aiming to become the next "Little Giant" alongside his teammates, including the genius setter Tobio Kageyama. The manga series has sold over 60 million copies, and the stage adaptation ran from 2015 to 2021 under the title Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!!. Building on this success, Theatre Company Haikyu!! was launched, with Kenta Suga taking on the role of director for the new series, which premiered on August 19, 2023.
