The opening theme for the TV anime The Blue Wolves of Mibu (airing on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV starting October 19) has been decided as "Ao," a new song written by SPYAIR. Along with this announcement, the teaser movie for the anime’s opening, featuring part of the song and the opening visuals, has been released.

Regarding "Ao," a song written to complement the world of the Shinsengumi warriors who burn with the flames of youth at the risk of their lives, SPYAIR commented, "The song captures the changes and determination that come with growing up, passing through the blue period that everyone experiences."
