The TV series Ultraman Arc aims to inspire children's "dreaming power" and serves as a bridge to a hopeful, bright future. The series portrays a heartwarming and heroic figure through the world of "Ultraman." The story follows Yuma Hize (played by Yuki Totsuka), a young man with a rich "power of imagination," who merges with a being of light that has descended to Earth from a distant galaxy. Together, they become the new Ultra Hero, Ultraman Arc, who stands tall to protect the future of humanity and the Earth from looming threats. Yuma, a newly appointed investigator at the Kaiju Disaster Prevention Science Investigation Center, or "SKIP," is an energetic young man, beloved by the townspeople, with a motto inherited from his father: "Run, Yuma!" He eagerly embarks on his role as the main character in this story.

As the series approaches its two-month mark since its broadcast debut, the show has centered around the bright and warm adventures of Yuma, Shu Ishido (played by Noboru Kaneda), Rin Natsume (played by Kaho Mizutani), Hiroshi Ban (played by Koichiro Nishi), and the rest of the SKIP team. Episode 9, titled "Goodbye, Rin," portrays a poignant story from Rin's past to the present. Episode 10, titled "To You in the Distance," features Ayane Sakura, who also voiced Maya from the ULTRAMAN anime series, as the mysterious character "Fio" who communicates with Yuma's classmate Kazuo via radio. In Episodes 11 and 12, directed by Masaaki Takumi, a well-known director in the Ultraman series, a giant mecha named Givas, who emits mysterious sounds and phrases, makes its appearance. Yuma and the SKIP members, unsure whether Givas is friend or foe, attempt to communicate with it despite the challenges. These episodes mark the climax of the first half of the series, leading to significant developments in the story. The series has been praised each week for its heartwarming human drama and Ultraman Arc's imaginative battles against kaiju. The momentum of the story is expected to accelerate further from September onwards.
