On the 18th, Kodansha began offering its first overseas manga service, K MANGA, domestically in Japan. This allows users to read their favorite manga in English, and to commemorate the launch, a collaboration with DMM Eikaiwa (DMM English Conversation) has also started.

Released overseas in May 2023, K MANGA is Kodansha's first overseas manga service and serves as the international version of Magazine Pocket, which boasts the largest user base in Japan. Approximately 500 titles are available, and among them, about 90 ongoing series release their latest chapters simultaneously in Japan and the U.S., making it popular with overseas fans since its debut.

In response to numerous requests, the service has now been launched domestically in Japan. This enables users to read their favorite manga in English and enjoy studying English through manga they love.

Additionally, a global comment feature has been implemented. Users can recommend their favorite works to manga fans worldwide and share their impressions, aiming to create a new cross-cultural communication space that transcends national borders.
