‘Vision Driver’ Released in Memorial Edition – Features Voices of 6 Cast Members, Including Final Stage Limited Kamen Rider
The official Bandai Namco Group online store, “Premium Bandai,” will begin taking pre-orders for the adult cosplay item PREMIUM DX Memorial Vision Driver & High-Spec Belt Set (priced at 19,800 yen, excluding shipping and handling fees) starting at 4 p.m. on the 20th.
From Kamen Rider Geats, the transformation belt ‘Vision Driver’ has been updated from the DX version to a Memorial Edition and is now available on Premium Bandai.
The PREMIUM DX Memorial Vision Driver & High-Spec Belt Set is based on the transformation belt ‘Vision Driver,’ used by Girori (played by Shugo Oshinari) and other Desire Grand Prix operators in Kamen Rider Geats. It features an upgraded appearance and enhanced voice functionality from the DX version.
The product includes the “High-Spec Belt” exclusively for the Vision Driver. The design has been revamped from the DX version, with most of the belt strap and buckle painted in metallic purple. An adjustment adjuster is attached to the back, allowing the waist size to be adjusted between approximately 75 cm and 100 cm. Additional metallic red paint has also been applied to the card holder and slot sections.
To enhance the role-playing experience of the Vision Driver, which is used by many characters in the show, voice lines from Girori, Niramu (played by Ryo Kitamura), Chirami (played by Shigenori Yamazaki), Suel (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka), and Beroba (played by Ayaka Namiki) are included. Additionally, lines from Kamen Rider Jamato Gazer (voiced by Kenta Miyake), who appeared in the stage production Kamen Rider Geats Final Stage, are also featured. By pressing a button added to the base of the driver, users can activate the cast members' voices. This product also marks the first time the transformation sound for Kamen Rider Jamato Gazer has been included in a toy.
Another button has been added to the base, separate from the cast voice activation button, allowing for a mode selection feature. This enables smoother role-playing for transformations into characters such as Kamen Rider Glare2 and Kamen Rider Gazer.
Moreover, the front of the belt is designed so that the LED lights do not shine through the corners, further emphasizing the “eye” motif that is central to Kamen Rider Glare's design.
