■Characters

Haruaki Abeno
Voice Actor: Ryota Ohsaka
A timid rookie human teacher who has just started working at Hyakki Academy. He teaches Japanese and is actually a descendant of the famous onmyoji from the Heian period, Abe no Seimei. He’s a "super pervert" who loves school uniforms, and his ahoge (cowlick) is his signature trait.

Mikoto Sano
Voice Actor: Ryota Suzuki
A student in Class 2-3 at Hyakki Academy. He is a god of misfortune (yakubyogami). He has a fondness for small animals, especially tanuki (raccoon dogs), and is best friends with a small tanuki named Mamekichi. He is particularly close to the protagonist and often acts alongside him. Though usually quiet and cool, he shows a sadistic side (Do-S) towards Haruaki and other male students. He is neat and dislikes bugs.

Mamekichi Maizuka
Voice Actor: Reon Tani
A student in Class 2-3 at Hyakki Academy. He is a tanuki yokai, an animal yokai who wears a sack and can transform into any form he likes, though he cannot change into anything larger than his own body. He has been best friends with Sano since middle school, and they live in the same dorm room. Mamekichi is so fond of Sano that he sometimes acts like an overprotective "monster parent," but he is generally very thoughtful of his friends. He has a poor relationship with Yanagida.
