BLEACH, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, follows the story of protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper herself. The series depicts the adventures of Ichigo and his companions. With over 130 million copies of the manga in circulation, BLEACH has been adapted into video games and a live-action movie in 2018 starring Sota Fukushi, as well as a TV anime that aired from 2004 to 2012. The final arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, aired its first cour from October to December 2022, and the second cour from July to September 2023. The third cour, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Conflict, will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other channels starting Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 p.m.

■Synopsis

The 366-episode-long epic anime TV series BLEACH found its start back in October of 2004 and led to four feature films.
Now, “Thousand-Year Blood War”, the concluding arc of the iconic anime, is finally about to unfold.
For the occasion, eminent anime maestro Tomohisa Taguchi brings his unique visual sense as Series Director and Series Composition.
Joining the team are BLEACH anime veterans Shiro SAGISU (musician) and Masashi Kudo (character designer). And to bring it all to life once again is studio Pierrot for animation production.
The team of talented veterans is ready for the final showdown.

Ichigo Kurosaki
Voice - Masakazu Morita
A high school student who can see ghosts. Lost his mother as a child to an attack by Hollows.
Acquires Soul Reaper powers through an encounter with Rukia Kuchiki and becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper.
Through the turmoil that embroiled the World of the Living, the Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo, he gains the trust of the other Soul Reapers and lives up to his position.Although he was forced to face his true heritage during the Wandenreich invasion, he still chose to pick up his sword again to protect everyone.

Orihime Inoue
Voice - Yuki Matsuoka
Ichigo's classmate. Possesses a cheerful personality and carefree smile.
Often makes zany off-topic remarks, but is always thinking of Ichigo and her friends.
Awakens to her spiritual powers after Ichigo rescues her after the Hollowfication of her older brother.

Shunsui Kyoraku
Voice - Akio Otsuka
Former captain of Squad 8. Upon Yamamoto's death in battle, he assumed the positions of Head Captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads and Captain of Squad 1. His style of wearing a flashy women's kimono over his captain's coat remains unchanged, as is his aloof manner. In actuality, he is a deep thinker who calmly assesses battle situations to even make ruthless decisions if necessary. Despite knowing that one of them would perish, he ordered Unohana to give Zaraki a lesson in Zanjutsu for the sake of the Soul Society.

Rukia Kuchiki
Voice - Fumiko Orikasa
The person who met Ichigo and shared her Soul Reaper powers with him.
Rescued by Ichigo when Sosuke Aizen plotted to kill her.
Later returned to the squad to battle together with Ichigo and her fellow squad members not just as a Soul Reaper, but as a comrade.
Played a role in restoring Ichigo's powers after he lost his Soul Reaper powers.
Currently lieutenant of Squad 13.
