The synopsis and scene cuts for Episode 38 of Wandafuru Precure! have been released. Titled “Komugi’s Place to Return,” the episode focuses on Komugi’s mysterious past as she encounters someone from her former life.

Episode Synopsis

In the episode, while Komugi (voiced by Maria Naganawa) plays at a dog park, a woman named Yuuki calls her "Maron-chan," a dog who went missing two years ago. Yuuki, who volunteers to care for animals whose owners can no longer do so, shows a photo of a puppy with a heart-shaped mark, just like Komugi.

Iroha (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) suggests, "Let’s visit your old family," and they head to an elderly home in a peaceful, natural setting. With the support of Yuki (voiced by Sasami Matsuda) and Mayu (voiced by Reina Ueda), Komugi and Iroha make their way to a courtyard where they meet an elderly man, Kurihara, who smiles gently at Komugi and says, "You’ve grown so much."
