NBA Halloween: Yuki Kawamura as a Ninja, 7'3" Victor Wembanyama as No-Face from Spirited Away
On October 31, the Memphis Grizzlies delighted fans with Halloween-themed photos of their players in costume, shared on their official X account. Japanese basketball star Yuki Kawamura posed as a ninja, striking a pose that drew comments like “He’s so fast, he could probably run on water!” and “With that speed, he might really be a ninja!”

Among other standout costumes, the “French monster” Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs, standing at an impressive 7'3" (222 cm), dressed as No-Face from Studio Ghibli’s classic Spirited Away. His towering No-Face costume had fans saying, “It’s practically real-life!” In addition, 6'9" John Collins of the Utah Jazz transformed into Kakashi Hatake from the anime Naruto, even striking a pose with Kakashi’s iconic “Sharingan!” line.
