‘Ultraman Arc’ Theatrical Release Set for February 21 Next Year, Naoto Takenaka's Appearance Revealed as a Surprise
In a special online talk event titled ‘Ultraman Arc & Blazar Online Roundtable’, the main cast of the ongoing TV Tokyo series ‘Ultraman Arc’ (airing every Saturday at 9:00 AM) along with the main cast of ‘Ultraman Blazar’ and director Takanori Tsujimoto gathered together. During this event, Yuki Totsuka, who plays the protagonist Yuma Tobise, announced the theatrical release of ‘Ultraman Arc THE MOVIE: Super Dimensional Clash! Arc of Light and Darkness (working title)’.
The latest TV series ‘Ultraman Arc’ will be hitting theaters nationwide on February 21 next year. Along with this announcement, a teaser video was also revealed. The film will feature familiar characters from the series, including Yuma (played by Totsuka), Shu Ishido (played by Sho Kaneta), Rin Natsume (played by Kaho Mizutani), Hiroshi Ban (played by Koichiro Nishi), and YouPi the Robot (voiced by Yuya Hirose) from the Monster Disaster Science Research Institute “SKIP.” Additionally, the surprise announcement included veteran actor Naoto Takenaka, whose role in the story has yet to be fully revealed. Directed by Takanori Tsujimoto, the main director of the TV series, we can look forward to more updates.
Furthermore, the latest episode, ‘Ultraman Arc’ Episode 19 titled "Surpassing Emotions," aired that day, showcased an emotional collaboration as Ultraman Arc and Ultraman Blazar came together, defying worlds to unite in battle. To celebrate the encounter of these two heroes, the online event, initially pre-released on the subscription service TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION right after the broadcast, will also be available on the official Ultraman YouTube channel from 1:00 PM.
Following the encounter of these two heroes in the series, the main cast from both works gathered in full—nine members in total. The event featured a special talk show, hosted by Akira 100%, who appeared as a guest in ‘Arc’, joined by director Tsujimoto. Together, they sent their passionate cheers, creating an exciting and enjoyable event.
