The TV anime "Demon Lord 2099" has unveiled a new key visual and PV for the upcoming "Akihabara Arc."

Following the broadcast of episode 7 today, "Demon Lord 2099" will enter its new "Akihabara Arc" in episode 8, airing on November 30 at midnight. The new key visual features the new character Hizuki, as well as the protagonist Demon King Veltol, along with Makina, Takahashi, and key figures representing the conflicting forces in Akihabara City—"Magic District" and "Electric District"—including Trat and Cornea.

The latest PV also introduces new characters. It has been revealed that Aki Yamane will voice Hizuki Reynard-Yamada, Hisako Kanemoto will voice Trat Goethel, Yoko Hikasa will voice Mag Rosanta, and Setsuji Sato will voice Cornea Cebuld. Comments from each cast member were also shared.

"Demon Lord 2099," based on the novel by Daigo Murasaki, is set in the futuristic metropolis of Shinjuku City and tells the story of the legendary Demon King Veltol. Satoshi Hino voices Veltol, and J.C.STAFF handles the animation production. The anime is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other networks.

Trat is the chairman of the academy and head of her family—a character with a calm and composed demeanor. Yet, when speaking with Hizuki, her warmth and love for Hizuki shine through.
I portrayed her with great care for these feelings, so I hope you’ll watch over her journey!

Yoko Hikasa (as Mag Rosanta) Comment

I’m Yoko Hikasa, and I had some trouble figuring out where to put the accent on "Mag Rosanta" at first!

I thought a lot about how to express Mag's unique sentence-ending style, but in the end, I decided to go with my first instinct!
I hope she comes across as charming to everyone. Look forward to the quirky banter with Veltol and the others—it’s almost a conversation, but somehow not quite there!

Setsuji Sato (as Cornea Cebuld) Comment

I’m Setsuji Sato, voicing Cornea Cebuld, the boss who rules the Electric District in Akihabara City!

Though Cornea looks like a fierce goblin, he’s actually overflowing with love and is an incredibly kind, wonderful character!
But honestly, he smokes way too much with that pipe!! Haha.
My favorite character is Takahashi.
