"100 Girlfriends" Season 2 Main PV Released! Highlights Include New Heroines' Voices and OP Theme Featuring All Heroines

New information about the second season of the TV anime "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You" has been released.

The anime, scheduled to air from January 12, 2025, will introduce four new heroines: Kurumi Haraga (voiced by Amane Shindou), Iku Suto (voiced by Rie Takahashi), Mimimi Utukushisugi (voiced by Lynn), and Meme Kakure (voiced by Kanon Takao). The main PV for Season 2, which was released alongside this announcement, features the voices of these new heroines for the first time, raising viewers' excitement.

The opening theme for Season 2, titled "Thank You for Loving Me (JP: Arigato, Daisuki ni Natte Kurete)," is a character song featuring all the heroines from both Season 1 and Season 2, and part of it was unveiled in the PV. The CD featuring this song is set to be released on February 5, 2025, and will also include the ending theme sung by the new heroines as a coupling track.

After experiencing 100 heartbreaks in middle school, Rentaro Aijo is determined to find a girlfriend in high school. Upon visiting a shrine, he is told by the god of love that he will meet 100 "soulmates" in high school. However, according to the god, if he meets his soulmate and they don’t end up happy together, they will both die... What will Rentaro do as he encounters soulmate after soulmate? And what about the 100 girlfriends!?
