[BREAKING] ONE PIECE Achieves 14th Annual No. 1 ORICON Ranking, All 2024 Releases Break 1 Million Copies
ONE PIECE, the globally popular manga series by Eiichiro Oda, has claimed the top spot in the Oricon Annual "Book" Ranking for comics, marking its second consecutive year and 14th overall No. 1 finish. Volume 108, released on March 4, sold an impressive 1.552 million copies during the ranking period, solidifying its position as a record-breaker.
The series also secured the No. 3 and No. 6 spots, with Volume 109 (released July 4) selling 1.468 million copies and the latest Volume 110 (released November 4) achieving 1.124 million copies, respectively. This makes all three of this year’s releases part of the TOP 10 best-selling manga of the year.
A Record-Breaking Legacy
All 110 volumes of ONE PIECE have now surpassed 1 million copies in cumulative sales, pushing its record further as the manga series with the most volumes to achieve this milestone.
Meanwhile, the JUJUTSU KAISEN series by Gege Akutami also performed exceptionally, landing four volumes in the TOP 10 at positions 2, 4, 5, and 8. Its high sales were bolstered by the series’ conclusion in the September 30 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
