The opening theme, "Myth of Emotions Ver.," is a new arrangement of the iconic "Sōsei no Aquarion" featuring lyrics by Yuho Iwasato and composed by Yoko Kanno. The song, famously known for its line "All this time these twelve-thousand years, I know I've been in love with you," has been reimagined by Shiro Sagisu, who is renowned for his work on the "Evangelion" series. The ending theme, "Confession," composed and arranged by Yoko Kanno with lyrics by Kanno and director Kenji Itoso, showcases AKINO’s radiant vocals alongside celestial strings that evoke the beauty of shooting stars.

About Aquarion

This marks the first new "Aquarion" series in ten years since the 2015 broadcast of "Aquarion Logos." The story is set in Enoshima, Kanagawa Prefecture, at a specialized academy. Students selected as Elements in the special enhancement class—Sakko, Remia, and Toshi—are tasked with piloting combat machines known as Vector Machines, powered by emotions, to battle the mysterious invading creatures called Mythical Beasts. Against the backdrop of Enoshima’s shrine to the "Three Gods," the three Vector Machines soar into battle, culminating in the Myth of Emotions Combination of three Aquarion units.

The "Aquarion" series began in 2005 with "Sōsei no Aquarion," followed by "Aquarion EVOL" and "Aquarion Logos." Known for its themes of love and understanding, the series gained popularity with the catchphrase "I want to combine with you," which resonated deeply with anime fans. The 2007 release of the "Sōsei no Aquarion" pachinko machine further increased its recognition, with its theme song leaving a lasting impression on a broader audience.

Comments from AKINO from bless4
Congratulations on Aquarion’s 20th anniversary! I was only 14 when I encountered this series, and it completely changed my life. I’ve been waiting 12,000 years for this! I am so honored to join everyone in this incredible journey through "Myth of Emotions." I can’t wait to watch it live! I’ll keep loving it for 120 million years to come!

Comments from Yoshiki Fukuyama
Hello, this is Yoshiki Fukuyama. I’ve been given the opportunity to perform "Sōsei no Aquarion Myth of Emotions" with AKINO. It’s a song everyone knows, and I never imagined I’d get to sing it! Performing it as a duet with AKINO, who has been singing it for 20 years, was definitely a challenge (laughs). I hope you enjoy this new version. I’d love to perform it live! Since the setting is near my hometown, Enoshima, I’m thinking of doing a pilgrimage to the sacred spots. Looking forward to the broadcast!

Comments from Hiroki Nanami
I am thrilled to join the epic story of Aquarion as San. San is a mysterious and enigmatic character who holds the key to the story. I hope you’ll watch closely to see how he connects with Sakko and the others and impacts their fate. This work not only depicts the grand battles of the reincarnating "Aquarion" and emotion-powered machines but also delves deeply into the bonds and growth of its characters. I’d be delighted to share the excitement of the "Myth of Emotions Combination" with all of you!

What a surprise! Such developments! I’m Yuumi Wakutsu, and I play Kazuhiko Saruta in "Myth of Emotions." Saruta has a unique charm that grows on you the more you get to know him. Just like the picturesque landscapes of Enoshima, the more you see, the more you’ll fall in love. Please witness this new myth! Go, Aquarion!
