Fermat's Cuisine to Receive an Anime Adaptation

The popular manga Fermat's Cuisine by Yuugo Kobayashi, known for creating Aoashi, is officially set to become an anime. Alongside the announcement, a commemorative illustration celebrating the adaptation has been released.

A Unique Storyline Combining Math and Culinary Arts

Fermat's Cuisine tells the compelling story of Gaku Kitada, a mathematical prodigy who faces setbacks in his academic aspirations, and Kai Asakura, a charismatic and enigmatic chef. Together, they tackle the culinary world’s challenges with mathematical precision. Gaku astounds those around him with his elegant "recipes," likened to mathematical formulas, as he and Kai grow together in their journey as chefs.

The manga gained widespread attention in 2023 with a live-action adaptation starring Fumiya Takahashi and Jun Shison in dual lead roles.

Special Illustration and Message from the Creator

To celebrate the anime adaptation, Yuugo Kobayashi shared a special illustration featuring Gaku in his chef’s coat, holding a doll of Kai, both smiling in joy at the announcement.
