A Legendary Game Comes to Life in Anime

On January 7, Crunchyroll announced that the critically acclaimed open-world samurai action-adventure game, Ghost of Tsushima (developed by Sucker Punch Productions), will receive an anime adaptation. The series will be based on the online multiplayer mode “Legends” (Meijin Kitan) and is slated for a 2027 release.

The anime will be co-produced by Crunchyroll and Aniplex, in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment Japan and PlayStation Productions, showcasing a true synergy of Sony Group’s creative forces.
