A Manga Phenomenon Turned Anime Classic

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016, Assassination Classroom is a hit manga by Yusei Matsui, boasting over 25 million copies in circulation. The story follows the enigmatic Koro-sensei, a creature with Mach 20 speed and immense power, who threatens to destroy Earth. Yet, he inexplicably becomes the homeroom teacher for Class 3-E, a group of misfit students at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. Tasked with assassinating their seemingly invincible teacher before graduation, the students embark on an extraordinary year of growth, challenges, and camaraderie.

Anime and Live-Action Adaptations

The anime adaptation first aired on Fuji TV in January 2015, captivating audiences with its blend of humor, action, and heartfelt moments. Later that same year, a live-action film starring Ryosuke Yamada brought the story to the big screen, further solidifying its cultural impact.
