Episode 10 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. Episode 10 will air on Sunday, April 13, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 10 Story

Airing April 13, Episode 10 is titled “CD Debut! Idol Pretty Cure!” and features Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her friends visiting the Kirakirand satellite office, which also happens to be Tanaka’s home. There, Tanaka informs them that the three members of the Idol Pretty Cure—Cure Idol, Cure Wink, and Cure Kyun-Kyun—will be making their CD debut.

They begin recording in a studio arranged by the agency. However, Cure Kyun-Kyun (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) finds herself too nervous to sing properly. When Cure Idol steps into the booth instead, she delivers a fun and confident performance, even adding her own fan service flair to the session. Inspired by Cure Idol’s style and energy, Cure Kyun-Kyun resolves to push herself harder.

A few days later, Kokoro Shigure visits the newly renamed “Cure Idol, Wink & Kyun-Kyun Research Society,” where fellow member Mikoto expresses a wish: “I wish there were an event where we could meet Cure Idol and the others…”

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
