Wani wants to ask about an incident involving Detective Kansuke Yamato of the Nagano Prefectural Police, someone Conan and his friends have previously helped solve a case with.
Ten months ago, while tracking a suspect in a separate case, Yamato was caught in a devastating avalanche. Though he miraculously survived, he lost sight in one eye and now bears a deep scar from the ordeal.
