At Osaka Comic Convention 2025—held at INTEX Osaka from May 2–4—voice actor Junya Enoki, best known for voicing Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen and dubbing Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, made a special appearance. Enoki joined veteran voice actress Noriko Hidaka on the popular stage segment “Noriko Hidaka’s Voice Actors #2,” where the two shared candid impressions of one another.

Launched in 2023 as the Osaka counterpart to Tokyo Comic Con, the event celebrated its third edition this year. Hollywood stars such as Sung Kang, Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Emily Rudd, Daniel Logan, Christina Ricci, Edward Furlong, Nicolas Cage, Bill Skarsgård, and Mackenyu Arata engaged with fans through panels, autograph sessions, and photo ops over the course of three days.

During their session, Hidaka praised Enoki’s performance in a drama, highlighting his ability to seamlessly blend into the scene’s atmosphere. “I thought it was amazing,” she said. “He must have been nervous, but he didn’t show it at all.” Enoki, known for his calm demeanor, added with a laugh, “Even my parents used to say, ‘You’re not very smiley—in a good way, you’re not overly flattering, but in a bad way, you’re a bit unapproachable.’” The remark drew laughter from both Hidaka and the audience.

In turn, Enoki described Hidaka as his polar opposite, remarking on her cheerful personality and animated storytelling—even backstage. He shared how she playfully acted out both sides of a conversation with Akio Ōtsuka, standing up to deliver her lines in full character, calling her “incredibly bright.”

When Hidaka asked, “How do I look from your perspective, Enoki-kun?” he replied sincerely, “Honestly, you’re like a young girl. Your eyes are always sparkling. It feels like you haven’t changed at all since back then.” When Hidaka revealed that her energy has remained the same since junior high, Enoki was visibly stunned: “Since junior high!?”
