Plot Overview
Set in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture, the story follows Kansuke Yamato of the Nagano Prefectural Police, who is critically injured by a bullet during a pursuit and buried in an avalanche. Ten months later, he miraculously returns—now blind in one eye—and investigates a new case at Nobeyama Radio Observatory, where a researcher is attacked. When the radio dish activates, his damaged eye begins to throb mysteriously.
Simultaneously, Kogoro Mouri and Conan Edogawa are en route to meet a former colleague from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department when gunshots ring out. The film intricately connects these seemingly unrelated events through “memories long buried,” bringing together Kogoro and Yamato in a compelling psychological thriller.
