Now officially an Onmyoji, Takeru Narihira trains alongside Atsunaga, engaging in simulated battles using shikigami and undergoing rigorous training set by Abe no Seimei. As Takeru demonstrates his abilities during their training sessions, Yura—who had originally been paired with Atsunaga—grows increasingly frustrated.

On the same date as his first arrival in Denji Heian-kyo, Takeru reflects on past experiences to anticipate what lies ahead and considers how to protect Tsukimiya. Just then, Yura appears and challenges him to a one-on-one duel—.
