Creepy… Demon Slayer reveals Doma Arc clip: “Wait a moment, Akaza-dono.”

　The anime film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc – Part 1: Akaza Returns has been playing in theaters since July 18. On the official YouTube channel, a special video titled And Then, to the Infinity Castle – Doma Arc has also been released.

This special video was created to commemorate the release of the film and was originally shown during the “Demon Slayer: Seven Special Nights” TV broadcast. It features newly recorded voice lines and revisits the story from the characters’ perspectives. In the Doma Arc portion, viewers can see a scene where Doma interacts with Akaza, saying, “Wait a moment, Akaza-dono.”

Demon Slayer is based on the popular manga that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. Set in the Taisho era, it follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demonized sister Nezuko back into a human and defeat the demon who killed his family. The manga has sold over 220 million copies worldwide.

The anime adaptation Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc aired from April to September 2019 and became a major hit. The movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc, released in October 2020, was a massive success, earning about 51.7 billion yen globally and becoming a social phenomenon.

Following that, the series was adapted into games and stage plays. The Entertainment District Arc aired in December 2021, the Swordsmith Village Arc in April 2023, and the Hashira Training Arc from May to June 2024. The Infinity Castle Arc is being produced as a film trilogy. In Part 1: Akaza Returns, Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps face off against Muzan Kibutsuji and the Upper Rank demons in the final battle set in the Infinity Castle. The film is currently screening in 452 theaters (393 standard + 59 IMAX) across Japan.
