K MANGA Launches Unprecedented Event: “Take-Home Replica Art Exhibition” – 73 Peel-Off Illustrations on Free Display in Shibuya

Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine editorial team is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its manga app K MANGA on August 1, 2025, with a unique advertising project called the “Take-Home Replica Original Art Exhibition.” Starting July 29, at Tokyu Shibuya Station B3F, near Exit B1 toward SHIBUYA CAST., this event features a free display of 73 peel-off replica illustrations representing iconic titles from K MANGA’s 10-year history. The exhibition will run until August 3 and is a collaborative effort across Kodansha’s five major manga labels.

The peel-off display spans over 14 meters, showcasing works such as WIND BREAKER, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, The Case Files of Young Kindaichi Gaiden: The Criminals’ Case Files, Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie, 100 METERS, Chūka Ichiban! Kiwami, and My Deer Friend Nokotan.

Visitors can remove and take home replicas, while the same printed artwork remains visible even after removal, allowing everyone to still experience the artists’ brushwork and dynamic lines.

In celebration of the anniversary, 12 newly illustrated characters debut in this campaign, each themed in K MANGA’s signature blue. Featured titles include Dye It Blue, I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, Jumidoro, WIND BREAKER, Guilty Circle, GALAXIAS, Pokesuke, Jujika no Rokunin, FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST, Hana-Bas, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, and The Witch and the Mercenary. In addition to Weekly Shonen Magazine, other popular Kodansha publications—including Sirius, Monthly Shonen Magazine, Morning, and Afternoon—have also contributed to this unprecedented project.
