Dekin no Mogura Episode 5 Story & Previews Released: Mogura and Team Search for The Missing Doll

The story and preview images for Episode 5 of the TV anime Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole (JP: 出禁のモグラ, Dekin no Mogura) have been released. The episode will air in Japan on Sunday, August 4 at 10:00 PM JST, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 5 Story

"The Trigger"

The bizarre doll that Maki’s younger brother, Umeharu, said had been treated like a member of his female friend Miya’s family turned out to be a keepsake meant to preserve the memory of Miya’s late sister, Maya. However, upon hearing that the doll had suddenly vanished, Mogura and the others launch an urgent search to find it. Meanwhile, at the location where the doll has gone, a new vengeful spirit is on the verge of being born.

Introduction

Mogura, a self-proclaimed sage who’s been banned from the afterlife, sets out on a quest to collect “lights” from spirits in order to return to the other side. This mysterious tale of life and death follows the strange encounters of those who, after meeting Mogura, begin to see things beyond the ordinary.
