Tougen Anki TV Anime Premieres with Episode 6 Story & Preview Images: Mudano Trapped by Yomogi’s Ability

The story summary and preview stills for Episode 6 of the TV anime Tougen Anki have been released. The episode will air in Japan on Friday, August 15 at 11:00 PM JST, and will be available later on streaming platforms in various countries.

Episode 6 Story

A corpse of an Oni brought in by the team is found to be laced with Tsubakiri Momomiya’s bacteria. Under his control, the body turns on its former comrades. The Kyoto Branch faces destruction as the non-combat support squad and wounded personnel have no means to fight back. Judging the battle unwinnable, Kyoya Oiranzaka immediately orders an evacuation.

Shiki Ichinose helps escort the injured while fighting the reanimated dead alongside his teammates. However, the situation—where they must kill those who already died—fills him with intense rage.

Meanwhile, in the streets of Kyoto, Naito Mudano and his Oni Nation Squad confront Tsubakiri’s group. Upon realizing the severity of the situation, Mudano attempts to return his team to support the Kyoto Branch—but is instead sealed inside a massive box created by Yomogi Momokusa’s ability. Matters worsen as a monstrous creature named Agri, created by Tsubakiri, detonates the entire box…
