The latest Demon Slayer film, Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 – Akaza Returns, has earned over ¥25.7 billion (~$171 million) in just 31 days since its release on July 18, 2025. The film has now surpassed Frozen (¥25.5 billion) to become the fourth highest-grossing film of all time in Japan, according to the latest box office data.

The theatrical release Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 – Akaza Returns recorded a box office total of ¥25,782,656,600 (~$171.88 million) and 18,272,941 admissions in the first 31 days.
With this figure, the film overtook Disney’s Frozen (¥25.5 billion) to reach #4 in Japan’s all-time domestic box office rankings.
