‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Season 2 Reveals Teaser PV, Original Manga Concludes; Premieres January 2026

On August 19, the final chapter of ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess (original work by Robinson Haruhara, manga by Hirakei) was released on Shonen Jump+ (Shueisha). It has now been announced that the anime’s second season will begin airing in January 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and Kansai TV, with an advance stream on ABEMA. A teaser PV was also unveiled.

The PV introduces Sakura Heartrock, a new character set to appear from Season 2, who was also featured in the teaser visual. The princess once again faces relentless “torture” in the upcoming season.

This heartwarming comedy follows a princess of the Kingdom’s Third Knight Order, captured by the Demon Lord’s army and imprisoned in a cold, unyielding dungeon. Subjected to merciless “torture” in the form of fluffy, freshly baked toast, steaming bowls of midnight ramen, playful moments with adorable animals, and irresistible food and fun, will she withstand it all and keep the Kingdom’s secrets safe?

The anime’s first season aired from January to March 2024.
