LINE Digital Frontier Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masamine Takahashi) announced that two of its original works produced by the LINE Manga WEBTOON STUDIO — Senpai Is an Otokonoko (by Pom) and The Fourth Husband (by Chinami Akio) — have been nominated for the main prize at the 2025 WORLD WEBTOON AWARDS.

Prestigious Korean Award Ceremony Recognizes Top Global Webtoons

Hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency, the 2025 WORLD WEBTOON AWARDS selects outstanding webtoons that have contributed to the global growth of the industry. On October 22 (Wednesday) in Seoul, Korea, ten winners including the “Grand Prize” and “Chairman’s Award,” along with the newly established “Reader’s Choice Award,” will be announced from among 26 nominated works. Reader voting, open internationally including from Japan, runs from September 1 (Monday) through October 21 (Tuesday), with each participant able to vote once per week, up to eight times.

The two nominated titles, Senpai Is an Otokonoko and The Fourth Husband, both originate from LINE Manga WEBTOON STUDIO, the editorial and creative division dedicated to developing original webtoons. Senpai Is an Otokonoko By Pom

Makoto Hanaoka, a cute boy who loves all things adorable, is mistaken for a girl when his junior, Saki Aoi, suddenly confesses her feelings.
