Genki Hirakata to Miss All Scheduled Performances of the Musical SPY×FAMILY Due to Health Issues: “I Deeply Apologize” [Full Statement]
The official website for the Musical SPY×FAMILY was updated on the 10th, announcing that Genki Hirakata (39), who was cast as Loid Forger, will be absent from all scheduled performances due to ill health.

“Genki Hirakata, who was scheduled to appear as Loid Forger in this production, will be absent from all scheduled performances due to health issues. The role will instead be performed by Kento Kinouchi. Regarding the performances Hirakata was scheduled to appear in: the September 21 (Sun) 5:30 p.m. show and the September 23 (Tue, national holiday) 12:30 p.m. show will be covered by Win Morisaki. Performances from September 26 (Fri) onward will be announced separately around September 19 (Fri).”
A comment from Hirakata himself was also included:
“I sincerely apologize for causing concern to those who were looking forward to my performance. I will focus on recovery and, above all, pray for the success of the production.”

We regret to inform you that Genki Hirakata, who was scheduled to play the role of Loid Forger in this production, will be absent from all scheduled performances due to health issues. The role will instead be performed by Kento Kinouchi.
As for the performances Hirakata was scheduled to appear in: the September 21 (Sun) 5:30 p.m. show and the September 23 (Tue, national holiday) 12:30 p.m. show will be covered by Win Morisaki. Performances from September 26 (Fri) onward will be announced around September 19 (Fri).
There will be no changes to Win Morisaki’s originally scheduled appearances.
