Kenjiro Tsuda, who voices Hachiro Nakao—a yakuza who admires Shocker and eventually becomes a Shocker combatant—appeared in a special video where he stood alongside Shocker soldiers and gave an exuberant yell.

Tsuda said,
"This series is ridiculous. The characters are hopeless, but it's a funny comedy. But it also shows the strong desires of people who overcome their difficulties with determination. It's not just a silly story, but a bold and inspiring one."

The three underlings of Hachiro Nakao—Satoshi Ito, Fukushi Ishige, and Daisuke Sato—will be voiced respectively by Tsuruoka, Ochiai, and Sakaguchi.

A new video shows more action and gives us a better look at the main character, Tanzaburo Tojima. The new image, created by character designer Cindy H. Yamauchi, shows the four main characters getting ready for battle. On the inside of a Kamen Rider mask, there are characters from Shocker in the background.

The story is about Tanzaburo Tojima. He is 40 years old, and he still dreams of becoming Kamen Rider. Just as he is about to give up, he finds himself mixed up in a series of robberies committed by "fake Shocker" criminals. Yokusaru Shibata, known for Air Master and Hachi-One Diver, wrote the series. It shows the exaggerated "serious Kamen Rider role-play" of adults who love the franchise very much.

The original manga was first published in Monthly Heroes in June 2018 and is now being serialized on the digital manga platform Comiplex.
