Cast Voices Their Excitement at the Premiere

During the event, Shogo Sakata reflected on hearing that the popular Reze storyline would be adapted into a film. “It felt like, ‘Finally, we’ve been waiting for this!’” he said. Tomori Kusunoki quickly responded with a smile, “That could be today’s headline.” Embarrassed, Sakata laughed before adding that he had loved the Reze arc even before joining the anime. He recalled reading the manga and wishing to see that part on the big screen, expressing his happiness at both performing and watching it in theaters.

Sakata is also known for voicing Gin Gagamaru in Blue Lock, Zen Toono in Mieruko-chan, and Eiji Shimotsuki in Fanfare of Adolescence.
