On September 26, a special stage greeting was held in Tokyo to celebrate the second anniversary of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime broadcast. Voice actors Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren), Kana Ichinose (Fern), and Chiaki Kobayashi (Stark) appeared together on stage as the new party cast.

Welcomed by applause, the three reflected on the journey so far. Tanezaki expressed her joy that the series could be revisited two years after its broadcast began. Ichinose warmly thanked the fans with a smile, while Kobayashi jokingly complained that Stark first appeared in episode 5, but at the previous anniversary event only episodes up to episode 4 were screened, making this time a happier occasion for him.

The cast then looked back on memorable scenes from season 1. Tanezaki excitedly discussed Chapter 5 “First-Class Mage Exam Part 2,” unable to stop talking about its highlights. Ichinose recalled episode 1, noting Fern’s small stature at the time and how much she has grown since. Kobayashi humorously mentioned that in chapters 4 and 5 his character was “left at home doing his best,” drawing laughter from the audience.
