The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest (JP: 味方が弱すぎて補助魔法に徹していた宮廷魔法師、追放されて最強を目指す) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, October 4 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 1 Story

Alec Yugret meets Eldas Mikayla, a man who teaches him magic and awakens his true talent. Years later, Alec graduates from the magic academy at the top of his class and becomes a court magician. To support Crown Prince Regulus Caldana in dungeon expeditions, Alec devotes himself entirely to “support magic.” However, one day Regulus suddenly dismisses him, stripping him not only from the party but from the royal court altogether. While Alec is left wandering in despair, his former academy friend Yorha Eisentz, a genius support mage, appears before him. Yorha proposes they reform their once-legendary four-person party “Lasting Period,” but Alec must decide whether to join her once again.
